Vlad Pligovka and Arnas Mikalkėnas Jazz Trio Concerts, Kaunas

     The Kaunas Accordion Society (member of CIA), President Grazina Lukosiene, in cooperation with the Kaunas National Philharmonic, organised two spectacular and outstanding concerts that were dedicated to World Accordion Day, May 6th.
     During the first concert on May 2nd the international performer and winner of the 2008 Coupe Mondiale Vladislav Pligovka for the first time presented M. Majkusiak‘s concerto for accordion and orchestra ‘Concerto Classico’, performing with the Kaunas-based National Symphony Orchestra (conducted by Modestas Pitrenas).
