Zita Abromaviciute was born in Siauliai, in 1946. In 1964 she graduated (cum laude) The higher music school of Siauliai (now conservatoire) and entered The Lithuania Conservatoire (now Lithuania academy of music and theater) to study in the department of folk instruments. She graduated in 1969 (cum laude) (prof. L. Survilas‘ class).
      Zita Abromaviciute works in Lithuania academy of music and theater since 1974. She is one of the first professional accordionist of academical aspect in Lithuania. After graduating Music academy, she was actively playing the concerts as the philharmony performer: she was playing in music schools of Vilnius and other regions, also in Russia. Z. Abromaviciute is the first lithuanian accordionist who arrange the accordion solo concert in Taurage, in 1972. The performer made some TV records.
